Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is the address not on the site?

    SLT Performance & Wellness is operated in a residential home so in order to ensure our safety and privacy outside of work hours, the address will only be given to paid clients. We are located in a prime location to service the Durham and Chapel Hill, NC areas.

  • What are your operating hours?

    Sammy is taking in-person clients and assessments between 9am-2pm on Monday-Friday and 10-12 on Saturdays. Some time exceptions may be made but all in-person work will be shut down at 6pm on Monday-Friday.


    Online Coaching clients will have access to Sammy's personal phone number for support around the clock. 


  • Are there age restrictions to your services?

    Nope! Sammy has experience working with children as young as 6 and adults as old as 90. Indviduals under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian consent by signing a release form upon sign-up.

  • Do you hold semi-private or group sessions?

    Semi-Private session may be available upon request for a max of 2 people. 


    No group sessions (>2 people) will be offered at this time.

  • What type of equipment do you use?

    While only being a 110 sq. ft. room, we have a lot of equipment to offer such as: squat rack, barbell, trap bar, safety squat bar, 500+lbs of weights, adjustable dumbbells (5-90lbs.), TRX, Ancore cable systems, swiss stability balls, dynamx slam balls, boxing heavy bag with gloves, adjustable bench, plyometric box, foam rollers, and multiple resistance bands amongst others.

  • How long do the sessions last?

    Initial Consultation: No longer than 90 minutes usually


    1-on-1 Sessions: 60 minutes


    Orthopedic Asssessment: Anywhere from 50-90 minutes.



  • Do you hold virtual sessions?

    Yes! Some virtual sessions will be available upon request.


    Online clients wil have priority for scheduling these sessions.
